Timedance: ...'Sharpen, Moving' celebrates five years of the Timedance imprint, blending the labels original aesthetic and opening it up into new corners of leftfield club music. Artists featuring include the regular faces of Batu, Bruce, Ploy and Metrist, alongside newcomers Kit Seymour, Akiko Haruna and Mang & GRAŃ. Timedance also welcomes techno royalty Peter Van Hoesen with one of his most broken tracks to date, plus new appearances from Patina Echoes contributors Via Maris, Cleyra and Nico.

The compilation showcases Timedance's evolution from 'Bristol techno' to a more global conscious sound, incorporating energies from different scenes and synthesising them into new modern forms.

Scrnxxxshdw: ...Screen Shadow is an amorphous presence slithering through electronic music’s dark, jagged and dreamy corridors. Emerging this January with a duo of debut EPs, Black (Vegan Tinder Lord) and White (Hexxex) , the shadowy project blends pummelling techno, industrial grit and experimental noise for a mood-spanning sound inspired by everything from Google Street View to visiting the dentist. The Black EP gleans from the heavier end of the club music spectrum, plunging into a hardcore well of nosebleed kicks and synapse-frying synths that bang with raw dancefloor energy. The White EP pauses for reflection, transforming Screen Shadow’s spiky reveries into tightly-woven technicolor dreamscapes.
POLITY: ...Fresh off the heels of minting the YCO imprint with Aya, BFTT debuts on Polity Records with the Intrusive / Obtrusive EP, which sees BFTT continue to develop his precise, hyper-futuristic take on UK sound-system music. Using technology and humanity’s evolving (and not always benevolent) co-dependence with it as a conceptual jumping-off point, he infuses a noisier but still tightly controlled sound palette with the fixed-point rhythmic precision and mutative structures that made his previous work stand out.
BFTT joined Manchester’s Mutualism collective in 2017, an experimental label and events series, as well as running Leftovers in Leeds and most recently founding YCO alongside Aya in July of this year. The release follows acclaimed records for Whities and Gobstopper, as well as a pair of s t u n n i n g remixes of Loraine James’ +44 - Thinking - Of - You.
Timedance: ...Following up on his Timedance debut in 2019, Sydney based wunderkind Air Max ’97 signs his return in style with a double dose of hi-detail club warpers.Without sacrificing any of his grimy and sub-loaded tendencies, the New-Zealand born producer expands his intricate and futuristic palette further with his most trance-inducing production to date.
